What are your rates?
We start with a free phone consultation. New clients schedule a 1-2 hour evaluation at your home. Purchased evaluation includes a written proposal with estimation of time, staff size, and cost. Based on your requirements, services are tailored to meet your time frame and budget. Project services are agreed upon prior to beginning work. For work performed more than 30 miles from Charlottesville, travel and living expenses are billed to the client with no markup or "convenience fee" applied.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVE?
We are located in Charlottesville and mainly service Central Virginia. We routinely operate in Albemarle and the surrounding counties. However, we do travel to other locations in Virginia and to other states for select clients. Even if you feel you are outside our service area, feel free to call us and discuss your circumstances.
Is there a contract for your services?
We agree with you using a simple contract to establish terms, services and rates. As client needs are different, we customize our service to fit your expectations and budget.
Is there a minimum charge or monthly cost?
Some hourly work has a two-hour minimum, however, there is no minimum number of sessions and there are no recurring costs. We bill you for the time of the services provided. There are no subscriptions or "plans" that you are locked in to.
What are your billing terms?
Payment is "due" at the time of service. For evaluations, payment is received at the conclusion of the two-hour session. For larger or longer term projects, billing frequency will be agreed upon prior to beginning work.
Are you licensed and insured?
Our company and consultants are insured. Our organizing services and the coordination of other service providers do not require a license. For any services requiring licenses (such as contractors) we coordinate the services of licensed and qualified providers.
DO YOU HAVE A CODE OF ETHICS?
We operate under the codes of ethics of industry groups including American Association of Daily Money Mangers (AADMM), National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and Faithful Organizers.
Do you have "before and after" photos of your work?
We consider client information (including photos) to be strictly confidential. Client privacy is a priority. Our website does not display (nor do we disclose) any photos of our work. Also, since each client's requirements and budget are different, each receives a service package customized just for them.
Do you work one-on-one or do you bring a team?
We can do both. Depending on the circumstances, each model has its strengths. A single consultant is the best fit when it would be too overwhelming to have a large group working. Our teams routinely work on large jobs where a lot of progress is made in a short period of time. Teams of two to four organizers are appropriate for whole-house organizing and relocation assistance.
